EXCLUSIVE: Two more core thirtysomething cast members, Melanie Mayron and Polly Draper, have signed on to appear in ABC’s pilot thirtysomething(else), a sequel to Marshall Herskovitz and Ed Zwick’s beloved 1987-91 drama series. She recently recurred on CBS All Access’ Tell Me a Story and was seen in Fox Searchlight’s Demolition.  In addition, Draper was the creator, showrunner, head writer, and director of the hit Nickelodeon musical comedy series The Naked Brothers Band (2007–09), which was adapted by the pilot movie of the same name that she originally wrote and directed as an independent film in mid-2004. The show blended humor and drama and allowed it's characters flaws and strengths and showed relationships struggling, falling apart and enduring. I just read a comment by a guy who said he couldn't feel sorry for characters who had great cars and houses etc as if these characters were rich.
